WAYNE
D. THOMAS
President
Mr. Thomas holds a B.S.
degree in mathematics from Bloomsburg University and has completed
graduate work at Temple University, the Pennsylvania State University,
Wilkes University, and the University of Oklahoma. He has over
twenty years of experience in the areas of building renovation
systems, environmental hazard assessment, risk assessment, and
asbestos ranging from public school abatements to a wide variety
of industrial and commercial projects. His specialties include
compliance, risk management, and record-keeping, as well as supervisory
techniques for abatement activities. Mr. Thomas is an EPA and
Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry-certified asbestos
abatement supervisor, inspector, management planner, and project
designer. Mr. Thomas is certified as a radon-testing individual
in Pennsylvania. He has completed courses of instruction in the
National Firearms Association (NFA) Recognition and Identification
(R&I) Hazardous Materials Awareness and EPA/Union Pacific
Railroad (UPPR) Hazardous Materials 1st Responder Operations.
He has also completed course requirements at Temple University
in the U.S. EPA Training Curriculum. Mr. Thomas is a member of
the National Industrial Hygine Association.
EUGENE
FERA
Senior Project Manager
Mr. Fera has served as
a master electronic technician for the Radio Corporation of America
(RCA) and as a technician for Altest Laboratories. He has over
thirty years of experience in all phases of electronics design,
repair, and fieldwork. In addition, Mr. Fera is certified in nuclear
safety and the use of nuclear soils gauges, as well as visible
emissions evaluations. He is a Pennsylvania Department of Labor
and Industry-certified supervisor and building inspector for asbestos
and an asbestos abatement supervisor. Mr. Fera is a certified
lead project designer, risk assessor, inspector and supervisor
and is certified with X-ray fluorescence (XRF) equipment. His
specialties include air and bulk sampling, project management,
and systems calibration. Mr. Fera has completed courses in NFA
R&I Hazardous Materials Awareness as well as EPA/UPRR 1st
Responder Operations.
JAMES
E. DETWILER, P.E., CIH
Certified Industrial
Hygienist
Mr. Detwiler earned a B.S.
degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University. He has
over twenty years experience as a consultant, corporate manager,
project engineer, and industrial hygienist. He has extensive experience
in the formulation and management of industrial hygiene and safety
programs in manufacturing environments. He has over ten years
experience in teaching courses and training programs for colleges
and industry. He also conducted comprehensive hazard evaluations
and recommended improvements and corrective actions at hundreds
of different processes and buildings. Mr. Detwiler holds a Pennsylvania
professional engineer license. He is a certified industrial hygienist,
with experience in acoustical aspects and comprehensive practice.
He is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association
(AIHA), Delaware Valley Section AIHA, Lehigh Valley Section AIHA
and the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE).
FRANK
CZAPLA, JR.
Project Manager
Mr. Czapla holds a B.S.
degree in business education from Bloomsburg University and a
M.S. degree in education from Wilkes University.
He has completed course work at the Pennsylvania State
University. He has over thirty years
of construction experience, having been a member of the Laborer’s
International Union. Mr. Czapla has
over twenty years of asbestos-related work experience. Mr. Czapla
has received extensive training through the Pennsylvania State
Fire Academy, including certifications in hazardous materials
response. He also received training in “indoor air quality in
schools” from the EPA and the National Education Association’s
Health Information Network utilizing the “Tools For Schools” protocols.
JOHN
M. GREYTOK
Microscopist Environmental
Specialist
Mr. Greytok holds a B.S.
degree in secondary education with a concentration in biology
from the Pennsylvania State University. He completed graduate
courses at Wilkes University and the University of Pennsylvania,
receiving a Masters of Secondary Education from Bloomsburg University.
Mr. Greytok has over twenty years experience in environmentally
related projects. His specialties include ecosystems, radon inspections,
microbial testing, noise pollution, indoor air quality (IAQ),
contaminated soils, hydrology, air monitoring and air sample analysis
using the NIOSH 7400 Method. He has served as an instructor at
various environmental training courses and seminars. Mr. Greytok
holds certifications as a radon inspector and is a registered
microscopist with the American Industrial Hygiene Association
(AIHA).
MARK
DIMOCK
Inspector / Project
Manager
Mr. Dimock retired from
the United States Navy with the rank of chief petty officer. He
acquired a strong blend of managerial and hands-on experience
in his twenty-two year naval career. His extensive experience
includes shipboard weapons systems, ordnance safety, system troubleshooting,
operational testing and human resource management and training.
Mr. Dimock is an EPA and Pennsylvania Department of Labor and
Industry-certified asbestos abatement building inspector, lead
hazard control inss also been trained as a mold remediation technician
andpector, and lead hazard risk assessor. He has attended varios
building inspection courses and mold inspection courses.
RUSSELL
E. BALDESARE
Inspector / Project Manager
Mr.
Baldesare has a thirty-year background in business management
and quality control and has served as the quality assurance officer
for the Luzerne County 9-1-1 System. He is certified as a public
safety quality specialist by NSCI, Inc. and has worked as a public
safety consultant for Technology Management Research, Inc. His
specialties include training, facility operations and project
management. Mr. Baldesare is a certified Pennsylvania Department
of Labor and Industry asbestos building inspector and is active
in the areas of air sample analysis, noise abatement, right-to-know
compliance, awareness training and microbial testing.
WAYNE
TADDEI
Inspector
Mr. Taddei
has a twenty-five year background in the medical field. His supervisory
skills include public relations, medical inspections, human resources
and problem solving. Mr. Taddei devised and implemented a highly
organized program for scheduling and diagnosing clients laboratory
studies at a local medical facility. His is certified by the Pennsylvania
Department of Labor and Industry as an asbestos building inspector.
CHRISTA
J. KNORR
Environmental Scientist
Miss
Knorr received a B.S. degree in environmental studies from East
Stroudsburg University. She has a technical background in microbiology,
environmental chemistry and stream ecology coupled with extensive
laboratory and microscopy experience. Miss Knorr is concentrating
on assignments in indoor air quality, microbial testing and right-to-know
compliance. She is also certified by the Pennsylvania Department
of Labor and Industry as an asbestos building inspector and Lead-based
Paint Inspector.
